Sweet Vibes presents: Celebrating Changemakers Giveaway

This giveaway is a collaborative effort that intentionally + exclusively centers Black changemakers in their industries, with a spotlight on queer and non-binary folx, who deserve far more recognition than what the social media algorithm dictates. These incredible people are the movers and shakers, creating ripples of change from where they stand and each uniquely advocating for sexual wellness, health, and inclusion.

In order to create change you must first recharge, taking time for self-care and self-exploration. Each changemaker will be giving away their favorite Sweet Vibes toy to one lucky winner to pass along this message of self-love. One lucky grand prize winner will receive the entire Sweet Vibes toy collection from our main page! Autumn Morris is a Certified Intimacy Educator who works to help curious humans connect love, sex, intimacy, and life in 2020. Kind of like Dr. Ruth meets Tik Tok.

 

Caroline Colvin @petitangebrun

"I'm Caroline Colvin (she/they) and I'm a queer, non-binary black journalist who covers sexual health and pleasure, identity, and the arts. By day, I’m a dating writer and sex-positive Instagram content creator. By night, I’m a film heaux, playlist peruser, and avid sipper of obscure celebrity tea. 100% of the time, I’m just a little brown angel — un petit ange brun."

 

Charmee Taylor @bi_astrology

Charmee is from a small town in Pennsylvania where she grew up Christian and didn’t have the language to safely come out as Bisexual until later in life. She started Bi_astrology as safe space for bisexuals in the digital age. She saw that there was a lack of representation of bisexual femmes in the media and the lack of discussion of this gap and decided to create Bi_astrology for the people who felt excluded from the conversation. Every week she goes live with a bi icon and or queer guest on her talk show where she talks about dating, relationships, queer first times, not feeling gay enough, TV shows and all things Bisexual pop culture with an astrology twist. 
   

Ericka Gail @mentalhealthfemme

Ericka Gail, M.S.Ed. is a non-binary, queer Black femme who is currently a resident crisis and trauma therapist working in interpersonal and sexual violence to facilitate healing for survivors and victims. Ericka uses their Instagram platform, Mentalhealthfemme, to provide therapeutic resources and culturally informed healing for QT/BIPOC folks. They are an educator, facilitator, poet, and healer. Ericka believes in the self-determination & liberation of all colonized people and addresses this through their mental health and social justice work. Ericka’s work focuses on anti-racism, LGBTQ+ and the intersections of marginalization; transnational feminist and human rights; gender based violence (SV/DV/IPV), & reclaiming joy and safety. While they do not provide therapeutic one-on-one services via social media, they commit themselves to making therapeutic tools as accessible and beneficial as possible for all to feel empowered on their healing and wellness journey.

 

Esther Faciane @finessabuxtable

Esther is a multi-hyphenate artist. From photography, graphic design, video editing, social media management and overall content creation, Esther took her career to New York City in 2016 and hit the ground running. Originally from New Orleans, Esther brings color and nostalgia into her work and loves all things art and black culture.

 

Gabrielle Alexa Noel - @gabalexa

Gabrielle Alexa is a writer, content creator, software developer, and author-in-progress. She has bylines in Elle, Cosmopolitan, Bitch Media, the Huffington Post, and more. Her work has been about creating more room for open and honest conversations about sexuality and queerness.

 

JADALAREIGN @jadalareign

Jada Lorraine, commonly known by her moniker JADALAREIGN, is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and organizer. JADA is known for her vast knowledge of the musical spectrum, and her eclectic selections of high energy dance music. She marries a variety of rhythms and genres to send powerful vibrations through any dance-floor. She has been featured in Vibe, i-D, Vice and Essence Magazines and was recognized by Revolt for her contributions to modern DJ culture in NYC. JADA produces a workshop and discussion series titled SKILLSHARE, centering womyn, non-binary and trans people of color, with topics including DJing, audio production, event production, community building and professional development.

For the last 6 years, Black Fat Femme, SW, Artist and Fat Body Liberator, Elle, aka Kingfatfemmie has been called Brooklyn her home. A place where she has grown into finding liberation in her sexual identity, body, spirit, and mental bealth. With a mix of southern roots and Brooklyn culture, she is forging a liberation of seeing herself as art.
Owning her sexuality and her body, she finds joy in knowing that her work is a platform for others to free themselves. She’s an advocate for fat body liberation, trans lives, black women and femmes, and for injustice.
Currently, she is crowdfunding to build a Black and Brown Community Studio in Bedstuy. “My dream is to create an low cost art utopia of freedom of expression for black folx through multiple means of medium. Art has always the gateway to many revolutions and we must do what we can to preserve our art by uplift black and brown creatives”

 

Raya of Eve @Raya.of.eve

Raya of Eve is sex and body positive sex educator who specializes in navigating polyamory and prioritizing womxn’s pleasure. Hailing from Atlanta Georgia, she puts a down to earth, southern flair on destigmatizing sexuality and expression, and is passionate about helping to create a world where it’s safe for everyone to come out and play.

 

Redefining Our Womanhood @redefiningour

Redefining Our Womanhood is a wellness service providing holistic and experiential mental health care. Our services include mental health consultations, events, workshops and access to mental health and wellness services. Rooted in prioritizing Black women and all marginalized people, our vision is for everyone to have access to personalized, accessible mental health care and tools to live as their highest selves.

 

Tangina Stone @stoneblu

Ohio-born, NYC-based singer, songwriter & producer Tangina Stone has been championed as a universal breath of fresh air. Her eclectic blend of soul, rock, electronic, and r&b has brought her to stages around the world. As a queer woman of color, she’s been highlighted as a trailblazer in an industry that traditionally has not celebrated artists like her. Whether on stage, protesting or in-studio – Tangina is home.

 

Trae Higgs @issatrae

Trae (she/her) is a multifaceted legal bae, lesbiologist & writer. She is an advocate for sexual confidence and sexual liberation that is free from judgement and shame. She believes Black, Queer and Trans folx deserve sexual pleasure in all its forms without being over-sexualized. She is launching a lifestyle blog called IssaTrae Blog in Fall 2020, be on the look out! Apart from of what she does in the world, she’s an avid beach-goer, reader, lowkey comedian and lover of chocolate chip cookies.  

Tyomi Morgan @realglamazontyomi

Tyomi is a Certified Sexologist, Authentic Tantra Practitioner and International Pleasure Coach with 9 years of experience in the sexual health field. Her down-to-earth approach to sexuality has garnered the views of millions of eyes around the world via her advice-based Youtube channel and interactive social media presence. She is the founder of Sex Ed blog Glamerotica101.com and emphasizes sexual empowerment of black women worldwide. Tyomi's advice has been featured on several platforms and traditional media publications including Essence.com, EBONY Magazine, Blackdoctor.org, Huffington Post, Comedy Central, The New York Times, SHAPE.COM, Blacklove.com, Vogue.com, Cosmopolitan.com, Washington Post's The Lily, Clear Channel Radio, CBS Radio, Sirius XM, Playboy Radio and dozens of others. Tyomi currently serves as the Resident Sexpert and Seminar Coordinator for the Exxxotica Expo and is a member of the National Coalition for Sexual Health.
